Contractor Education Requirements...
You can check your Contractor Credential Status at the
Wisconsin Dept. of
Commerce's website.
If you need to take the 12 credit "new builder" series to earn your Qualifier Credential, here are 2 sources that we know are Commerce-approved:
- The Wisconsin Builders Association is offering their Commerce-approved 12-credit "new builder" course either online or via DVD. HNBA/WBA-member rate is $139; non-member rate is $239. An info/order form is available here for page 1 & here for page 2.
- The Metropolitan Builders Association is offering their Commerce-approved 12-credit "new builder" course via DVD set. As a member of Heart of the North Builders Association, you will receive their HBA Member rate of $150. An info/order form is available here.
Both of these options will also satisfy the12-credit continuing education requirement for those already holding their Dwelling Contractor Qualifier.
The 2009 UDC Course (4 CE credits) Schedule is available on the Builder Education page of WBA's website, www.wisbuild.org.
