HNBA's Government Affairs committee met with Barron County's Zoning Administrator Feb. 20, 2007 to discuss issues that our members had. The results of this meeting are as follows:
"As a follow-up to our meeting on February 20th the new procedures that we discussed have been reviewed and approved by the Zoning Committee. In addition to the new procedure for the issuance of a Land Use Permit, the revised applications have also been approved. Separate permit applications are now available for dwellings, accessory structures and a general application for structures such as fences, stairways, decks, etc.
On March 17, 2008 the Barron County Board of Supervisors approved a new fee schedule that will be effective on April 1, 2008. Please note that the fee increases also includes a change in the After-the-Fact permit fee. The After-the-Fact permit fee has been approved by recommendation of the Zoning Committee to 4 TIMES the normal permit fee.
I have attached the revised applications and the new fee schedule. These forms are also available on the Barron County web site at http://www.co.barron.wi.us/zoning.htm
